We are making two lovers meet for the first time ever!

It’s Fardeen and Naqsh against the world – that’s how they’ve felt from the start of their relationship. They were but young teenagers when they first met online and their friendship flourished into something more. They eventually decided that they were meant for each other and started planning on how to meet and marry. The problem is, the nations where they come from are not friendly with each other so they could not apply for tourist visas to each of their countries. It became the couple’s greatest fear to die without even meeting in person once!

Fardeen and Naqsh started saving up for their meetup in a neutral country instead. They’ve been met with hurdles and dead-ends along the way until they saw an opportunity with Project Nightfall Philanthropy’s Weekly 1000. Touched by their story, we reached out and the rest is history.

Here is what Fardeen has to say:

“I wanna say a lot of things right now but maybe it’s like a dream come true and I am all in silence and unable to express my emotions. Thank you so much for the help and support.”

Nightfam, if you truly put your heart and energy to it, things can be possible. For this couple, they had to wait and exert continuous effort for almost 13 years to finally meet. We hope that you don’t give up on your own dreams, too. Thank you for helping us, help them.

Project Nightfall Philanthropy is bringing a mobile library and classroom to underprivileged children in Turkiye!

We just funded fuel for a mobile classroom as well as books, craft supplies, coloring tools, and food.

This grant will impact at least 500 kids!

“When children and parents are underprivileged [and less educated], then what happens is they tend to go backward in life [too]. For example, some [girls] at 15 years old can [just] get married and it’s like ‘NO please no!'” said Sarah Arslan, a passionate teacher helping underprivileged kids in Turkey.

University students in Turkey are addressing these challenges in their locality through their mobile libraries using donated and reconditioned buses. So far they have reached several districts in the capital and are looking to reach more.

When Sarah received the announcement, she said she was so shocked! “I was like oh my god! All I can say is that this is such a great opportunity for them. I didn’t expect a reply or anything like that but I’m really grateful just to be considered because children really deserve everything and they are the future of our world.”

Hero teacher from India gets new school facilities for village children

Deep Narayan Nayak, a dedicated teacher from a marginalized community in a remote Indian village, has embarked on a remarkable journey to transform lives through education. In a place where earning a mere dollar a day was considered sufficient, Deep recognized the dire need to push his community toward enlightenment. Undeterred by initial reluctance, he went from house to house, passionately advocating for the importance of education.

He started with only two students and taught them under the shade of a tree. In the end, he gained the confidence of the parents and the trust of young children. Today, Deep conducts eleven batches, each comprising one hundred students. Through his tenacious efforts, an illiterate community has blossomed into a literate one.

The story of Deep Narayan Nayak reached the ears of the Project Nightfall Organization. We did not hesitate to give him the support he direly needs.

Deep shares his sentiments regarding this uplifting development, expressing himself in his native language:

“I [was] super surprised, as I only expected the video and so I was extending the required support. I was excited about the video. There were big journalists and Press Houses who took my interview, they were here with big cameras all well dressed but none thought that the kids would need support.

It’s only Project Nightfall that extended a hand of support and I felt like my efforts are valued, not mainly because of the money but the thought that this cause is important and that it requires help, support & love. I am truly and deeply grateful for Project Nightfall and his amazing team. I will use the money to expand the school into another village that I’ve already shortlisted, they are hundreds of students who need street blackboards, uniforms, books & food…”

All thanks to you, Nightfam, we are able to do this for Deep and the children he teaches. By watching our videos, you empower us to go as far as this remote community in India and even beyond. Love you, all!

A girl with cerebral palsy gets a special wheelchair

Esther has cerebral palsy and had been unable to walk since birth. She is a 13-year-old girl that stays with her grandparents. Esther was always uncomfortable, she could sit straight to eat, and she could not move enough because the old wheelchair was small and rigid. The cerebral palsy wheelchair will help her commute to her classes and physiotherapy sessions. She is a brave, bold girl and deserves all support to live in comfort and to learn.

Here’s what her parents have to say:

“I’m so glad to inform you that the Cerebral Palsy has been delivered and because we have some money left, we also got her some diapers that will last her for some months, we got her some clothes and some food materials as well.”

“On behalf of my wife, I [appreciate] all the entire Project Nightfall (NIGHTFAM) Organization for coming through for her(Esther) at this time, we are eternally grateful for identifying with us.”

Because of you, Nightfam, we have been able to reach children (and people) with disabilities. In our small way, we help them make life just a bit more comfortable so they can have access to some of their needs. We are truly thankful to you!

This son from Papua New Guinea is getting their house fixed

John was fearful that he and his disabled father would soon end up being homeless. His home for more than 20 years had leaking pipes and a rotting roof. When he walked on the floor, the whole house would shake. The place was no longer livable and was in danger of being repossessed. He thankfully saw the opportunity in Project Nightfall Organization’s Weekly giveaway and was so eager to share what this home and his family meant to him. This was his chance to finally put his home back in one piece.

Here’s what John has to say:

“It is more than enough, it will solve all my problems!

I’m so thankful to you and the Project Nightfall Team!”

Nightfam, because of you, we have helped John rebuild his dream for his family. After all, a home is more than just a shelter, it’s also the dwelling place for great memories, the birthplace of a person’s hopes and ambitions.
