The little boy named Sky is a twin to another little boy. His brother is in better health, but Sky has been diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), Noonan Syndrome, and undescended testis. He would need open heart surgery among others. The operations themselves are already very expensive but before even reaching that stage, Sky has to go through series of laboratory tests first.
Sky’s mother has reached out to us seeking for financial assistance so she can have Sky tested further. In addition, she was hoping to buy maintenance medicines, vitamins, and home oxygen for her little heart warrior as he goes through his battle.
Here is what the mother has to say:
“Thank you for always sharing your blessings with the people who are in need. Stay safe!”
“…next week [we’ll] confirm the schedule of his 2d echo. So far Baby Sky is doing well and we bought him his maintenance, his milk and diapers. We also bought him new clothes. Also we bought him his oxygen, for home use. Thank you so much for your help.”
As of 2015, 5 to 10 incidences of CHD were recorded for every 1000 births in the Philippines where Sky is from. We are hopeful that our donation could help him overcome his sickness and we look forward for him to have a healthier life ahead.

Although he’s only a teenager, Lochan is facing a serious challenge – to live longer, he needs a new kidney. It may still take a while for his surgery but while waiting, he just needs to make sure that he never misses his dialysis.
Lochan comes from a tiny village in India. He moved to the city on his own to attend classes and dialysis sessions. He sent his application and was thankfully chosen for the 2nd week’s Project Nightfall Philanthropy giveaway!
Here’s what he had to say:
“I am so glad to inform you that I received your donation. I can’t express what it means to me at this time of crisis. Thank you so much!.”
He shared that the $1000 will give him a chance to live! It’ll help him not to lose faith in his struggle. He believes he’ll come out of this tough phase, study well, and will support his family.
Nightfam, you made this possible! Together, you help us with this mission of saving lives and giving hope. Thank you for staying with us!

Mwana Afuunde Meal is a feeding programme for underprivileged children based in Zambia. The group goes to learning centers to provide meals for school kids. The reason behind the programme is simple but also makes perfect sense – a nutritious meal can allow a student to fully participate in the classroom. With an empty stomach, it is hard for a child to learn.
Its CEO, Felix Alitili reached out to Project Nightfall so 500 school children in the community can be fed for a school year. According to him, more than half of the children in his community come to school with little or no food for breakfast, just chewing some bush fruits if they find any on the way to school.
Here is what Felix has to say:
“It will greatly make an impact for these children and the community alone. These are communities that literally have nothing. They don’t even make $2 a day and [$1000] will make a very big impact.”
It’s unimaginable how far the $1000 could go! Nightfam, this is once again a reminder of how humbling your support is. By watching our videos, you are helping us feed these children not for a day, or a month, but a schoolyear.

Erlino lost his wife after the latter gave birth to their first-born. Apart from being devastated by the loss, he is also facing challenges taking care of his newborn son. Currently, he is working as a construction worker but his salary will only go to paying off debts that he incurred for his late wife’s funeral. For the sake of his baby’s survival, at least in the coming months while pulling himself together, he reached out to us for assistance.
Losing a loved one, a life partner at that, is never easy. We hope that with the little help Erlino is getting from Project Nightfall Philanthropy, he is eased with some of his problems and can grieve more peacefully.
Here’s what he has to say translated from his language:
“Thank you so much, Project Nightfall [Philanthropy], this is a huge help for my baby’s needs and it must be God’s plan that I submitted my application because I really have nothing right now. I will never forget your goodness until I grow old and I shall share this with my son that during our time of need, you were there to help us. Thank you so much!”
Nightfam, honestly, this is such a heartbreaking story. May Erlino’s wife rest in peace and may his child grow in love and health in his father’s care together with the rest of the family that’s left behind.

Project Nightfall Philanthropy is sponsoring 20 to 25 street libraries for an Indian state with the second lowest literacy rate in India. They will house comics, storybooks, self-help books, and biographies of great and influential personalities.
Ms. Ngurang Meena has built an educational institution for victims of domestic abuse and vice. When the pandemic hit, they could no longer afford the rental so they left their institution building and dismantled their classrooms and library. This setback gave birth to a new mission that she calls the Library Movement and it aims to outnumber wine shops in Arunachal state in India with free books and libraries. From her library, she started setting up mini bookshelves in different streets where people of various ages can freely read and return books. With our help, she will reach the borders of China!
Here’s what Ms. Meena has to say:
“Doing this charity work [that you do], I think there are no other organizations are doing right now. You guys are really commendable. Thank you for your help to us.”
What an awesome way to conclude 2021! Nightfam, you’ve made us reach this far of helping people and institutions to achieve their goals, solve their problems, or alleviate their difficulties. We hope you stick with us for our next projects!
